Marriage Proposal Tip #2 – Best Time Of The Year To Propose?

Here are some of the most popular days of the year to get
engaged
:

1) Valentine’s Day

2) Christmas

3) New Years

Although these are the most popular days of the year, for a
unique proposal you would probably want to pick a significant
time
such as your partner’s birthday, anniversaries, your first
date, your first kiss, the first time you met etc.

If you want it to be a big surprise then choose just an ordinary
day or perhaps even during a romantic vacation.

    Dave,
First of all if you don’t know how to propose to her are you sure you know her well enough…if you are sure that you are ready to make the lifetime commitment of marraige and are just having a mental block and would like to make a lasting impression on her talk to her parents. After asking for her parents blessing and then you can ask them if they have any ideas. A best friend is always a good way to go but you have to be sure that the friend won’t spill the beans.

I love my Girlfriend. We’ve been friends for six years and been together for five months.. I’m in the Marine Corps and she was there for me from the begining. and She tells me that not being able to see eachother for a week or two that she thinks it wont work out, i tell her it will..I just told her i have to go back to Iraq and she said she wants to be together and I want to ask her to Marry me. I want to ask her at the Marine Corps Ball, Because i will have a lot of friends there and i would like for them to see this.. Please get back to me and let me know what you think??
    Thank you God Bless..

    Hey Gabriel,

If she thinks it wont work out if you have to be apart for a week or two? you have some serious thinking to do… I cant give you an answer there but you should really consider, arent you worth waiting a lot longer then that for?

I would definitely agree with Danny…if she is doubting that a week apart will lead to the end of your relationship, you should think long and hard before you pop the big question. You don’t know how long you will be in Iraq and you need someone that you know will be there when you get back. I don’t know you, but I do know one thing….you are worth more than that! I hope it all works out for you!
